SHIPWRECKS AND SAILORS Adventurous tale captivates crowd

In 1957, a young Jack S. Grove discovered the shipwreck of the H.M.S. Bounty of Mutiny on the Bounty fame off Ducie Atoll in the Pitcairn Islands chain. Talking to a captivated crowd at the History of Diving Museums Immerse Yourself talk, Grove said Pitcairn is not on the map for anyone. 

The island chain also isnt printed on the globe that Grove uses to show where they are. You see this label, Pitcairn would be right under there, he said, pointing to a covered part of the South Pacific.
